Signal Systems Circuit
Engineer
This position assists the Chief Design Engineer C & S in the review and design of signal plans, assist in maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal laws; AREMA/AAR recommended practices; and industry and company standards. The candidate must have superior problem solving skills, ability to comprehend, address and solve complex signal engineering problems in a timely fashion, compliant with law, industry recommended practice and standards. Must be proficient in CAD, signal relay logic design, and AREMA/AAR nomenclature. Candidates should be educated in further education, preferably to
a degree in a relevant subject.

technical and development support in the following areas:

Successful candidate will possess
the following experience/qualifications:

2-5 years experience
·
40 hour OSHA training
·
BS degree in science or engineering

Ability to read and follow existing
SOP's, plans, and specifications

Working knowledge of federal, state
and local regulations.
·
Computer experience (spreadsheets,
word processing, databases, etc.).
·
Able to work independently with
minimal supervision, and interact well with all levels of personnel.

The ability to transition between
field and office work
·
Experience with report preparation
and writing
·
Desire to work in a team environment
