CHARLESTOWN TRANSFER – CHARLESTOWN, NH
Charlestown Transfer began operations in July 1998 by leasing space and reloading forest products for Cushman Lumber Company. The facility consists of 22 acres and includes two warehouses encompassing 63,120 square feet of covered storage. Charlestown has two rail spurs, one servicing the warehouse, and the second servicing the lower yard. The facility can handle both boxcars and center-beam flatcars.

EW LARSON RELOAD – NORTH BILLERICA, MA
Larson Reload is a multi-product transload center located at Pan Am’s headquarters location at Iron Horse Park in North Billerica, MA. Larson operates a fleet of flatbed trailers and can perform delivery across the region. As a flatbed operator they specialize in open top loads like steel and lumber. They also have a dock that can accommodate boxcars. Indoor space is provided as well for panel products.

MEYERS ENTERPRISES LLC – PLAINVILLE, CT
Meyers Enterprises operates a rail transload and warehouse facility in Plainville, CT. The warehouse has 180,000 square feet of capacity. The facility also has outside laydown space. Meyers is well equipped to handle flat car and steel shipments, but can unload boxcars and handle containers as well. Meyer’s in-house trucking operations cover the Tri-State area and the nation.

Mid-States operates a transload yard for dry-bulk materials, and specializes in plastic pellets. The yard has 200 unloading spots. Mid-States provides trucking services with its own fleet of 75 units.

Perma Treat, Pan Am System’s company, provides lumber and other reload services at its Mattawamkeag, ME cogen facility. The facility can handle boxcars, gondolas and centerbeam flatcars.
TURNERS ISLAND LLC – SOUTH PORTLAND, ME
Turners Island is a privately owned and operated 14 acre marine-rail cargo terminal located in South Portland, Maine. TI can handle almost any cargo that can be shipped by either rail or sea. Commodities presently handled include biodiesel, poles, scrap steel and dimensional stone.
B&D ADVANCED WAREHOUSE LAWRENCE, MAB&D provides warehouse, cross-dock and trucking services from their FDA approved facility in Lawrence, MA. B&D specializes in paper products and groceries. The facility has186,000 square feet and an indoor rail siding with 4 car spots.

Opened in 2001, Crystal operates a 2.5 million square foot, state-of-the-art, temperature controlled facility in Medford, just north of Boston. The facility is close to routes I-93 and US-1. Their siding can handle 5 cars.

For over 20 years, Regency has been providing transportation, warehousing and distribution services throughout New England and the Middle Atlantic States. Their Clinton location is a 200,000 square foot warehouse that specializes in food, consumer and general merchandise. Their siding has 12 rail doors.

A subsidiary of RM Sullivan Transportation, a family owned and operated, consolidation, distribution and warehousing company located in Springfield, MA. They have been in business for over 50 years. Pan Am Southern can access the 180 Progress Avenue location through a switching agreement with CSXT. This facility has 121,000 square feet of space with an 8-car siding.

TIGHE LOGISTICS GROUP – MULTIPLE LOCATIONS IN MA
Tighe Logistics Group is a 150-year old, full service, third party logistics company headquartered in Woburn, MA. They provide asset based warehousing, transportation and value added services. Tighe operates three facilities on Pan Am in Massachusetts:
- Ayer (Devens) – a 110,000 square foot warehouse, that primarily serves as a cross dock for printing paper. The facility is located adjacent to the Ayer intermodal ramp and a short distance from MA Route 2. The rail siding can accommodate 16 railcars.
- Walnut Hill (Woburn) – a 200,000 square foot, food-grade facility. The siding holds 7 railcars. In addition to food & beverage products this location can handle paper and general commodities.
- Winchester – a 200,000 square foot, food-grade facility. The warehouse has 12 boxcar doors with a 2 track siding for a total of 24 spots.

Consolidated operates a 460,000 square foot facility in Bangor. They have 6 railcar doors and specialize in paper handling. The facility is less than a mile from the Maine Turnpike (I-95). Consolidated’s sister company, Central Maine Transport, can handle trucking from Bangor to points nationwide.

LAW WAREHOUSE – NASHUA, NH
Tracing its roots to 1882, Law owns a 500,000 square foot complex in Nashua, less than 1 mile to US-3. Law also has a highway fleet of flatbeds and vans that provides TL and LTL service across New England. Primary commodities handled include wine, spirits, lumber, paper, & steel coils . Law’s rail sidings can unload 6 boxcars and 2 centerbeam flat cars at a time.
NEPW LOGISTICS – MULTIPLE LOCATIONS IN MAINE
- NEPW , offers warehousing solutions at ten locations in Maine, encompassing almost 1,000,000 square feet, provides a number of value-added services, and manages a trucking fleet of 30 power units. On Pan Am NEPW operates facilities at the following locations:
- Fairfield – a 42,000 square foot facility with 30 foot ceilings. The siding can hold 3 cars. It is less than a mile to I-95. The facility specializes in wood pulp.
- Portland – a 147,000 square foot facility with 30 foot ceilings. The siding can hold 14 railcars. This is a food grade warehouse, that can also handle paper and general commodities.
- Scarboro Beach – This is a 147,000 square foot facility with 26 foot ceilings. Once known as Northeast Paper Services, it specializes in the handling, storing and processing of paper rolls. They have an 8-car siding. Specialized equipment includes 3 Webco winders that can handle up to 84” rolls with a diameter of 60” with a variety of core sizes. NEPW can also offer mill quality wrapping of finished rolls.
POTTLES TRANSPORTATION – BANGOR (HERMON), ME
Since 1972, Pottle's Transportation has continued to expand, transforming into a major motor carrier operation in the Northeast. They operate a warehouse in Hermon, ME. The warehouse specializes in paper handling and has 3 car spots.
SPRAGUE – MERRILLS MARINE – PORTLAND, ME
As part of their ocean terminal, Sprague operates two warehouses. Warehouse #1 is primarily for wood pulp and Warehouse #2 is primarily used for printing paper and newsprint. Merrill’s has a deepwater pier and can load breakbulk ships with pulp and paper products. They are also located nearby the Maine Turnpike and Portland Container terminal.
